We waited in the room with people..for like 20 or so minutes after 8 till we got there, I saw A-Brad there and I knew this test would be B-A.
THEN WE GOT IN THE ROOMS, took the English (grammar, etc.) test, then math, then reading, then science, then we wrote an essay.
The English one I feel I did really good on, when I did the PACT/PSAT prep at my school, I did really bad on the grammar because I wanted to change the sentences to something..not listed as an option, but because I studied a lot, I clarified a few rules of ENGLISHHHH then I went in today and I actually liked the answers they gave..!! Well..one of each. WHICH WAS A GOOD SIGN.
Math was really easy, I was able to complete most of this section. I guessed..on this dumb question in the beginning about.
IF A RECEIVER AND PASSER AND OTHER PEOPLE ARE PLAYING A GAME BLAH BLAH MORE INFO HERE WHEN WILL THE RECEIVER GET THE BALL.
..yeah..I didn't even want to try. SO I GUESSED 4th PASS.
Then on the reading..god..reading. I wish they didn't have this test. It is so tedious. You read 4 passages and answer 10 questions per passage. It would be easier if the writing style they chose wasn't some..weird style that is hard to comprehend. Then they ask you about the most minute details and such, SO YOU HAVE TO GO BACK through that reading, which is fairly lengthy, and locate each small detail.
HATEDD IT. I only completed 2 and a half of the reading things + questions, so I filled in the rest of the bubbles DIAGANALLYYYYYyyy
THEN SCIENCE.
God.
That was a pain.
They give you a few experiments, one was of birds, but they gave you the scientific names of 2 birds..and their names were basically the same thing so when you read a problem youd have to go back to the problem and figure out WHICH ONE IS IT AGAIN!?!?? THEN the questions took me FOREVER because I had to always LOOK BACK AT THE INFORMATION, FIGURE OUT WHAT THE HECK IT WANTED, and go through the answers and try and figure out what they WANT AGAIN, and choose. I took probably 20 minutes on the first 2 pages alone. God. I did so badly on that section. Out of..40 or 50 I only did about 15 questions. GO ME..!!
Writing I dominated. We were given 30 minutes to plan and write a 5 paragraph essay..and..well. For 30 minutes, mine was pretty good ;D.
SO.
I can't wait..to see what I'll get..!! I'll tell you guys once I get the scores!!
Devious Comments
but you know whats worse? getting an average score (i got a 23) and then you learn the kid that sat next to you got a 32, when all he did was fill in random bubbles and sleep.
i hope you did well

(Of course I did take the ACT 3 times before the time I got a 32, so I had some practice.)
